The objective of this symposium is to offer artists a unique and beautiful environment far from city life and daily routines. It is for sculptors, painters, multi-media artists, performers, musicians, writers, poets, architects, engineers etc.
Artists from many disciplines and nationalities have participated over the years. Should you be interested in taking part in a future edition, please contact us at: woolsymposium(x)gmail.com
What happens during the symposium?
Day 1. Arrival at El Arreciado, meet and greet drinks, lunch, settling in, reconnaissance of the finca and dinner
Day 2. Witness the shearing process and start work on projects.
Days 3 & 4. Project work goes on
Day 5. Open day and evening party for artists at the lake house
The open day gives the public an opportunity to see the works, meet and speak to the artists and appreciate art out of its usual locations.
Day 6. Lazy, long breakfast, comparing notes, packing, chatting, saying goodbyes
